Here are a couple of great popcorn games for kids to play at parties and outing. the kids will have a Blast and they are easy to learn, uncomplicated and low cost.
Game number 1 – Whistle me this!
This is a great game. It is quick. Requires no set up and kids LOVE IT!
But it is a messy game so you need to do it out doors
Whistle me this Supplies:
- You will need a bag of salted plain popcorn big enough so each kid has a handful
How the "Whistle me this" popcorn game is played:
This game is a race to see who can whistle first after chewing a handful of salty dry popcorn.
Its not as easy as it sounds because the kids will be whistling out pieces of popcorn as they try to whistle.
Add in the dry mouths and the race and kids will be laughing hysterically as they try to whistle!
"Whistle me this" game Instructions:

Line all the kids up in a row. If there are a lot of kids break them up in groups of 5.

Give each kid a cup of popcorn.

When the timer says "Grab your popcorn" Each kid grabs a handful of popcorn.

When the timer says "GO!" each kid puts a handful of popcorn in their mouth.

Each kid must then chew the popcorn as quickly as possible to the point where they can Whistle!

The first child to whistle wins!
Game number 2 – The Popcorn Relays!
How the Popcorn Relays game is played:
But it is a messy game so you need to do it out doors
Supplies needed for The Popcorn Relays:

You will need a bowl of popcorn for each team.

a cup

a teaspoon.

Each team can have 1 or more players. It works best with small teams of 2-5.

Team prizes for winners, best effort etc.
"The Popcorn Relays" game Instructions:
Break the kids up into teams of equal numbers. 2-5 per team works great.

Give each team a bowl of popcorn and a teaspoon.

Place a cup for each team across a finish line 10 – 25 feet away.

Have each team form their own line behind a starting line.

The front person on each team gets a spoon.

On "GO!" they each dip a spoonful of popcorn and run to the finish line as fast as possible while spilling as little popcorn as possible.

They dump the remaining popcorn from the spoon into the cup and dash back handing the spoon to the next team member.

This relay race continues until a judge announces that one teams cup is "full" and they are the winner!
